Reviving the Past: Unearthing the Historical Significance of National Education Policies
Reviving the Past: Unearthing the Historical Significance of National Education Policies
Education is the backbone of any nation. It has the power to shape future generations, instill values, and promote social and economic development. Therefore, it is crucial to understand the historical significance of national education policies in order to revive the positive aspects and learn from the mistakes of the past.
National education policies are the guidelines and strategies set by governments to ensure that education systems meet the national goals and objectives. These policies influence curriculum design, teaching methods, assessment systems, and the overall structure of the education system.
By unearthing the historical significance of national education policies, we can analyze the impetuses behind the decisions made in the past and evaluate their impact on societies. This understanding is essential to ensure that future policies are built on a solid foundation and address the ever-evolving needs of students and the wider community.
One aspect of reviving the past is examining the factors that influenced the formulation of national education policies. Historical context, political ideologies, societal values, and economic demands all play a significant role in shaping education policies. By delving into the decision-making processes of the past, we can determine whether these factors contributed positively or negatively to the advancements and challenges faced by education systems.
Furthermore, analyzing the historical significance of these policies can help us identify patterns and trends over time. Are there recurring themes in the goals and objectives of education policies? Are there common pitfalls or successes that occur in different periods? Such observations can inform policymakers about the potential implications of their decisions and allow for more informed and efficient policy development processes.
Reviving the past also means recognizing the impact of education policies on marginalized communities. In many societies, certain groups have historically been left out or marginalized within the education system. Understanding why certain policies failed to address the needs of these communities is crucial in designing inclusive and equitable education systems. By acknowledging the historical struggles and successes in this area, policymakers can work towards ensuring equal access to quality education for all.
Additionally, revisiting past education policies can shed light on various teaching and learning methodologies that have proven successful or detrimental. Educational theories, pedagogical approaches, and assessment methods have evolved over the years, and examining the outcomes of past policies can help us understand which practices are effective and which need revision. This historical analysis can guide the formulation of evidence-based education policies that prioritize student engagement, critical thinking, and holistic development.
Moreover, unearthing the historical significance of national education policies can help mitigate the negative consequences of policy mistakes made in the past. By examining the unintended outcomes, such as increased inequality, limited creativity, or limited practicality, we can learn from these mistakes and avoid repeating them in the future. Policymakers can then focus on integrating best practices and innovative ideas into new policies that align with national goals and address 21st-century challenges.
In conclusion, reviving the past and unearthing the historical significance of national education policies is crucial for informed decision-making in education systems. Learning from the successes and failures of the past can guide policymakers towards creating inclusive, equitable, and effective policies. By understanding the factors that influenced past decisions, analyzing historical trends, considering marginalized communities, and reviewing teaching methodologies, education systems can build upon the positive aspects of the past and avoid repeating mistakes. Only by doing so can we pave the way for a brighter educational future for generations to come.

Ranked-Choice Voting Scam EXPOSED
(ChristianCountry.net) – With calls to “make elections fairer,” proponents of ranked-choice voting see it as a means of resolving the extreme division and partisanship dividing the US.
Claimed as a democratic innovation, their methodology corrupts the democratic foundations of our election system and, unfortunately, frequently leads to voter disenfranchisement.
In contrast to traditional election methods, voters in ranked-choice voting do not select a single candidate for each office. Instead, they assign a preference ranking to each candidate vying for each office.
A candidate is declared the winner in ranked-choice voting if they appear first on more than 50% of the ballots.
The lowest-ranked candidates in the race are eliminated, and the voters who selected them as their first choice are then reassigned to the remaining candidates based on those voters’ second and maybe even third preferences, depending on the number of candidates in the race.
This process occurs if no candidate receives at least 50% of the vote as the first preference.
Consider a scenario in which ranked-choice voting is used in a swing state to choose the winner of the Electoral College in the 2024 presidential election.
For this hypothetical analysis, 45% of voters ranked Donald Trump as their top choice, 44% ranked Kamala Harris, and 11% ranked Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
In the existing setup, Trump would prevail. The voters’ second choices would determine the results of ranked-choice voting.
Kennedy would be eliminated from our hypothetical race since he garnered the least support. Votes for those who made him their first choice would then be reallocated to either Trump or Harris, depending on which candidate they supported in order of preference.
Even though Trump received more first-preference votes, Harris would have won the election if most Kennedy voters had listed Harris as their second option.
You may have seen ranked-choice voting in the news recently. Let’s talk about what it is, how it works, and where in the U.S. it’s currently being used: pic.twitter.com/hW4kG5TT2J

The conventional method is still used in most elections. However, ranked-choice voting has seen a notable increase in popularity recently.
According to the Ranked Choice Voting Resource Center, “RCV has been adopted in 62 jurisdictions as of the 2022 elections,” including major cities like New York City and San Francisco and states like Alaska and Maine.
Ranked-choice voting appeals to some Americans because it gives them the freedom to select the candidate of their choice, regardless of that candidate’s chances of winning the election.
Additionally, it prevents unpopular politicians with small but fervent fan bases from winning competitive races where support is divided among several contenders.
Taking away voters’ rights
Ranking-choice voting has benefits but drawbacks that should worry voters and legislators who support the system.
For instance, in many ranked-choice systems, a voter’s ballot may be “exhausted,” a polite way of saying that their votes have been discarded, if they fail to rank every contender, which frequently occurs due to indecision or laziness.
It’s nothing less than voters puzzled by the regulations erasing their ballots and losing their right to vote.
This genuine issue silences the voices of people who have used their right to vote with great care, not just a theoretical worry.
For instance, the Center for Election Confidence reports that in Maine’s 2018 federal election, 9,000 voters (or 6% of the total) had their ballots exhausted or left blank during the ranking process, which prevented their votes from being tallied.
Remember that fewer than six percentage points separate winners and losers in many elections.
However, there are other issues with ranked-choice voting as well. The Cato Institute has shown that it increases ballot mistakes and decreases voter turnout.
The Foundation for Government Accountability stated that in odd or off-cycle election years, “RCV jurisdictions have on average eight percent lower voter turnout rates than non-RCV jurisdictions,” citing Cato’s research.
These results are just the reverse of what we need at a time when restoring confidence in the US electoral system is crucial.
How can we rebuild public confidence in our electoral process by creating a voting system that leaves many voters disenfranchised and confused?
Ranked-choice voting proponents contend that it allows a greater range of beliefs to be represented in politics.
However, research, including that conducted by the Cato Institute, demonstrates that rather than real consensus, this perceived diversity of candidate choice frequently stems from voter ignorance and unfamiliarity with candidates.
Ranked-choice voting leads to disorder, ambiguity, and a diminished belief that an individual’s vote counts rather than more representation.
Because ranked-choice voting essentially provides political and ideological minorities backing unpopular candidates two or more ballots in contests where no candidate receives more than 50% of the vote, it is fundamentally unfair.
After Maine’s 2018 congressional race saw Democrat Jared Golden defeat incumbent GOP Rep. Bruce Poliquin — despite Poliquin ending the first round of voting with more votes — one commenter succinctly put it: “That’s crazy. The guy with the highest votes loses???”
An idealistic left-wing dream
Even though supporters of ranked-choice voting always portray it as impartial, many on the left are actually using it to weaken districts where conservatives have a majority of the vote.
For this reason, many organizations advocating for ranked-choice voting also happen to be left-wing organizations.
For instance, left-wing groups Rock the Vote, and FairVote.org are making great efforts to persuade legislators to accept the voting plan.
These organizations and their supporters back measures that are opposed by conservatives and strongly supported by the left, such as universal voter registration, open primaries, and a national popular vote.
It’s telling that they firmly believe in ranked-choice voting.
Thankfully, some states are seeing how dangerous things can be. Because ranked-choice voting compromises election integrity, several states have outlawed it.
While it’s a positive move, more states must adopt similar measures to protect their electoral systems.
Because ranked-choice voting creates so much needless uncertainty, it silences the voices of innumerable voters. It keeps “we the people” from exercising our rights.
One vote, one person. For two centuries, it has been the operation of our voting system. Why change it now?
What do you think of the ranked-choice voting system?

Bombshell: Kamala’s Husband Exposed as Serial Cheater
(ChristianCountry.net) – Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, recently came clean about having an affair with his former nanny, Najen Naylor, while he was still married to his ex-wife, according to a shocking Daily Mail article.
In addition, Naylor taught at their kids’ posh private school in Los Angeles, and she remained receptive to the tale. She said that she was “kind of freaked out” in response.
After their 16-year marriage ended in divorce, Emhoff was married to his first wife.
“We don’t know if she aborted the baby, which would be horrible, we don’t know if she kept the baby, and Doug Emhoff just abandoned her and didn’t recognize her as the daughter or son that he or she was, which would also be awful,” Liz Wheeler comments, disturbed.
After this, the nanny left the private school where she worked and went to New York to avoid the publicity.
“Where’s the mainstream media telling us what an awful pig this man is?” Wheeler asks. “I always wondered what kind of man would marry a gold digger like Harris, someone who was a home-wrecker, who dated Willie Brown when he was married in order to advance her own political career.”
“Well, now we know. A man who would impregnate the nanny of his elementary school-aged child,” she continues, adding, “What a despicable man, what a degenerate of a man.”
Wheeler’s primary concern is how the news will affect the 2024 election, even though it is unsettling in and of itself.
“The women of America will care if they hear about it. If the mainstream media is not successful in stifling this story, the women of America will care,” she says.
Do you believe Harris and her husband lack moral fiber?

UN ADMITS Employee Involvement in Israeli Attack on Oct. 7
(ChristianCountry.net) – Interestingly enough, after conducting its own investigation, the U.N. discovered minimal proof of Hamas infiltrating U.N. organizations in Gaza.
A report published on Monday by the U.N.’s internal oversight body revealed that nine workers of the U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) had engaged in terrorist actions on October 7 and in the days that followed.
UN says 9 UNRWA employees “may have been” involved in 10/7 Massacre and will be fired. 🤔
Here’s footage of UNRWA social worker Faisal Ali Mussalem Al Naami murdering Jonathan Samerano and kidnapping his body.
Apparently definitive proof is not enough for the UN.

The real issue is that investigators disregarded information suggesting hundreds or possibly thousands of UNRWA staff are Hamas operatives. That admission is terrible enough.
This deception aims to ensure that UNRWA’s funding is maintained, but Congress will not be fooled.
Instead, it needs to impose terrorism sanctions to shut off UNRWA’s remaining revenue streams and permanently forbid the organization from receiving U.S. government funding.
UNRWA does not regard Hamas as a terrorist group, much like the U.N. does not.
This makes widespread infiltration easier in a region under Hamas control that depends on hiring locals.
According to Israeli security documents, 440 of UNRWA’s around 13,000 employees in Gaza are actively involved in Hamas military operations, 2,000 are registered Hamas operatives, and an additional 7,000 have an immediate family member who is a Hamas terrorist.
A list of 100 UNRWA staff members who were involved with Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad was handed to the relief organization by Israel in July. Among them were UNRWA teachers who took part in the atrocities and kidnapped Jews from their homes.
Nine employees of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) “may have been involved” with Hamas in the terrorist attack on Israel on October 7, according to an investigation conducted by the U.N.
U.N. acknowledges nine UNRWA employees “may have been involved” in the attack on Israel on October 7.
Additionally, Israel has discovered that Hamas uses several UNRWA facilities.
However, just 19 persons accused of involvement in the October 7 massacre were the subject of an investigation by the U.N.’s investigative shop, despite the strong evidence of the agency’s open collaboration with the terrorist group.
Out of those, the U.N. concluded that just nine might have participated in the attack – very perhaps — and thereby gave UNRWA an institutional green light for terror finance.
But UNRWA is more than just a case of nine bad apples; it is fundamentally corrupt.
Although UNRWA was founded as a refugee aid organization for Palestinians after Israel was founded, in reality, it has contributed to the continuation of the Arab-Israeli conflict.
Millions of Palestinians are being taught by its workers to believe a lie that they will eventually drive Jews out of the Mediterranean and retake their land.
Antisemitism, sympathy for terrorism, and even admiration for Hitler have been found in abundance in UNRWA schools and staff investigations.
The inevitable culmination of decades of UNRWA provocation and hate speech came on October 7.
The Biden administration has joined a multinational push to confirm UNRWA’s important position in Gaza, encouraging U.S. partners to provide money — even though Congress has (for now) banned U.S. funding — in a bid to shift attention away from the organization’s unacceptable ties to Hamas.
If the Biden administration accepts this most recent U.N. whitewash, it would allow U.S. taxpayer funding for UNRWA to resume.
There’s more than enough evidence for Washington to censure UNRWA for terrorism. In addition to preventing UNRWA from accessing additional donor cash, secondary financial penalties would compel banks to stop processing transactions on the organization’s behalf.
Congress has the authority to enact laws imposing such sanctions and permanently prohibit UNRWA funding.
The State Department, the White House, and some international officials frequently assert that UNRWA is vital to the welfare of Palestinians and cannot be replaced.
That’s only accurate, though, if supporting Hamas is the aim.
The UN admitted that 9 UNRWA employees “may have been involved” in 10/7 massacre
US has contributed more than $7.3 BIL to UNRWA’s funding since 1950
In 2018, President Trump stopped these payments
But in 2021, Biden-Harris restored $157 MIL in funding

— LogicForAll (@ebelotseNYC) August 5, 2024
There are other options if achieving something different is the goal, such as assisting Palestinians in realizing their entire political and economic potential in a hate-free and violent environment.
Without the ideological baggage, many other organizations, like the World Food Programme, operate in crisis areas worldwide and offer many of the same services as UNRWA.
More crucially, the U.N. shouldn’t violate human rights, and international organizations should not serve as a substitute for effective governance.
Should the U.S. immediately stop funding the U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA)?
